Hot Power Flow

This class creates vitality, physical power & freedom to access accelerated results in your overall body strength and confidence. You will link the movement in your body with your breath to create a flow that will generate sweat and empowerment! This class is upbeat and fun because we turn up the music and flow with the beat. Music selection varies by instructor. This class is suitable for all levels of practitioners, from raw beginner to advanced. Teachers offer modifications as you are learning or healing injuries.

Classes are held in a room heated to 95-100 degrees to help loosen up the muscles and joints, while detoxing the entire body.

Hearts and Hips

All levels class. This class will allow you to build heat in your body, breathe deeply, and explore heart and hip openers. You will leave feeling a deeper connection to yourself, your body, your heart, feeling more rooted and grounded in your emotions and yourself. The studio is warmed to between 80 and 85 degrees to help loosen the muscles and joints for a more effective practice. Set to music.

Yin
Yin

Yin yoga has many benefits other than just being a good balance to our active life styles.  The YIN practice releases fascia and improves joint mobility allowing the flow of nutrients and energy through the body.  Holding poses that gently lengthen the muscles and fascia helps to break up adhesions and applying mild stress to joints and connective tissue can increase their range of motion.  Poses are held for an extended period of time allowing the body to release. As an added bonus, the YIN practice calms and balances the mind and body, increases circulation, improves flexibility and balances the internal organs.

Slow Flow and RESTore

Slow Flow & RESTore This class is a blend of gentle and restorative yoga. Through the gentle flow parts of the class, students will connect with their bodies through movement and breath, focusing on listening to the body and giving it what it needs. The restorative potion of the class, will allow the body to rest supported by blankets, bolsters, and/or blocks. Providing the body with physical support helps the mind and body come to a state of relaxation. Temperatures in this class may vary. All levels class.

All levels class.  Slower flow offering students the opportunity to tune into the breath; noticing the breath directing the body.  Warmth in the studio allows the body to move freely and release tension.  A wind down from your day. 

Classes are gently heated to 80-85 degrees to help loosen up the muscles and joints, while detoxing the entire body.

FlowStorative offers a blend of rejuvenating movement and restful practices. We will flow at a gentle pace coordinating our movements to our breath. We will balance our practice out with restorative poses where it is all about finding comfort to support stillness. The body will be completely supported by blankets, blocks, and/or bolsters allowing the mind and body to relax. Temperatures in this class may vary but will remain less than 80. Slowasana has fused the yin-restorative style of long-held passive poses to release tension and emphasize relaxation with the dynamic yang style of flow. This class will begin with a gentle flow to open the body to more flexibility and energy flow then move into a more restorative flow encouraging a more meditative, non-reactive quality of mind. Friday Flow & Stretch is a slower paced flow class designed to give students the opportunity to wind down from the week to a deeper state of relaxation preparing for the weekend. This class incorporates yoga postures, gentle movement sequences, breathwork, and guided relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness of the breath and the body. Props may be used. Temperatures in this class may vary but will remain less than 80 degrees. All levels
